Over the last six years, our content has reached over 100 million people.
Climate Justice
From day one we have used human stories to reframe the climate story as a justice story.
Across our 2,000 pieces of original content, we've explicitly mentioned climate justice in 47% of our work, framing it not as a single issue but as an intersectional one, tied to race, gender and class. We have platformed youth climate leaders including Greta Thunberg, Vanessa Nakate and Xiye Bastida, and mobilised our audience to join over 15 marches at UN climate conferences. Alongside our efforts, searches for the term 'Climate Justice' have climbed steadily globally since 2020.
Indigenous Rights
Indigenous Peoples are roughly 5% of the world's population, and in Latin America they make up just 3% of news coverage.
We have spent four years closing that gap: 8.4% of everything we have made carries the story of Indigenous rights. In 2021 we launched Choose Earth with Choose Love: 75 assets, 40 million impressions in year one, £350,000 raised directly for communities, 84 Brazilian Indigenous leaders supported. We backed the #SíAlYasuní referendum, in which Ecuadorians voted to permanently halt oil drilling in Yasuní National Park, and documented Sonia Guajajara's election as Brazil's first Indigenous Minister.
Climate Campaigns
Every year climate negotiations happen behind closed doors, in a language no one can follow. Our content breaks down and translates what's happening to a global audience
At COP28 we were a key partner behind the #LaterIsTooLate campaign, co-creating the message and campaign visuals . The #LaterIsTooLate received 27 million impressions and was shared by voices from Jane Goodall to Mark Ruffalo, before driving the addition of 'phase down of fossil fuels' into the final text. In 2021, Seat At The Table followed a 100-day journey across the UK to COP26, telling the stories of the people the crisis reaches first, it was viewed 5.7 million times, raising $343,000 for Count Us In.
Human Nature
We are part of nature, not apart from it.
Our content tells powerful stories reminding us of our connection with the nature world, as we know that connection and empowerment drives action. 93.8% of our audience say they feel more connected to people and nature because of our work and 85.2% feel more empowered. With Sounds Right, we helped launch NATURE as an official artist on streaming platforms, so the natural world could earn royalties from its own sounds. 110 million Spotify streams, 10.5 million listeners, 458 media mentions, a potential reach of 3.6 billion.
