Climate Justice

From day one we have used human stories to reframe the climate story as a justice story.

Across our 2,000 pieces of original content, we've explicitly mentioned climate justice in 47% of our work, framing it not as a single issue but as an intersectional one, tied to race, gender and class. We have platformed youth climate leaders including Greta Thunberg, Vanessa Nakate and Xiye Bastida, and mobilised our audience to join over 15 marches at UN climate conferences. Alongside our efforts, searches for the term 'Climate Justice' have climbed steadily globally since 2020.

Climate Campaigns

Every year climate negotiations happen behind closed doors, in a language no one can follow. Our content breaks down and translates what's happening to a global audience

At COP28 we were a key partner behind the #LaterIsTooLate campaign, co-creating the message and campaign visuals . The #LaterIsTooLate received 27 million impressions and was shared by voices from Jane Goodall to Mark Ruffalo, before driving the addition of 'phase down of fossil fuels' into the final text. In 2021, Seat At The Table followed a 100-day journey across the UK to COP26, telling the stories of the people the crisis reaches first, it was viewed 5.7 million times, raising $343,000 for Count Us In.
