Planet Health Stories with Bupa

Earthrise worked closely with the Bupa brand team to create Planet Health Stories, a global project using the power of storytelling to make the connection between personal and planetary health feel relatable, human, and shareable.
The open call for two-minute social films connecting personal and planetary health received an astonishing 906 applications from 83 countries. From this, we selected a cohort of 5 filmmakers alongside 6 creatives from our network, with a combined following of 2.5 million.
Earthrise executive produced the films across themes spanning food, mental health, access to nature, air pollution, movement, community and ancestral knowledge. We built and distributed the social campaign with Bupa and the filmmakers across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, pairing each film with a thematic explainer and behind-the-scenes context.
To take the project beyond the feed, Earthrise also produced and hosted a Planet Health Stories screening and dinner in London, co-hosted by Alice Aedy and actor James Norton. Earthrise curated a guestlist of influential voices in the space with a combined following of around 1.4 million, and programmed keynote moments from Sophie Darlington ASC, Colin Butfield, Liz Bonnin and Louis VI to deepen the conversation beyond the screen.
